Leslie and Jennie had a beautiful wedding at Covenant Church and an amazing reception at the Hilton Anatole hotel in Dallas, Texas. They are both incredible people. Filming their wedding was such an honor as they and their families were all warm and welcoming, which made the day truly special.
Their day was coordinated by Jennie’s brother Finny, who did a really awesome job of making sure everything went off without a hitch and that the 750+ guest had a fabulous time. We feared the day would be marred by rain since it had rained quite heavily the previous day. However it turned out to be a gorgeous day which put everyone in a great mood.
The one big disappointment was that the SDE we put together did not play in its entirety due to a glitch with the laptop. Here it is as it would have played. A big thank you goes to Finny, both families, and to Leslie and Jennie for helping make the filming a breeze and for choosing Graymask to share their wonderful wedding. Join us and watch the amazing wedding of Leslie and Jennie as it unfolded!

Amanda and Will are a delightful couple. We are much honored they chose us to be part of their beautiful wedding and we enjoyed all the festivities. We also got to work with some amazing vendors. For Starters the Vista West Ranch is truly a beautiful wedding location with a barn style reception hall in Dripping Springs. This was our first time shooting at the Vista West Ranch and I would certainly recommend the ranch. They are very courteous and efficient plus the location yields some incredible pictures and video. Flowers were by Stacy from Petal Pushers – florist, The delicious wedding cake was made by Classic Cakes by Lori, catering was by Pappas Catering and the decorations and production was done by Filo Productions. Here is a quick highlight of some of the beautiful wedding footage we captured for Amanda and Will. Enjoy!

It was a beautiful sunny day as we drove to the hotel to meet Maryann I wondered how the day was going to unfold. It was after all our first Coptic Wedding Ceremony, and being an Orthodox church I was worried about restrictions at the church. More on that later but first let me tell you about Maryann and her bridesmaids.
She looked stunning in her lovely dress and everyone was in a very festive mood when I got up to the hotel room. Her mother looked very proud and happy as she helped Maryann to get ready. I couldn't help but think what a beautiful moment it was, one that Maryann would remember every time she views her wedding video.
John seemed quiet on the onset but when I greeted him he gave a broad smile. A gentle soul I thought. I was struck by how calm and self confident he was. Together they looked perfect and I wanted to make sure we captured the day in a unique way. The Coptic Church is based on the teachings of Saint Mark who is credited with bringing Christianity to Egypt. The Coptic Orthodox wedding ceremony is long with several chantings and full of symbolism.
When we got to the church my worries about our coverage dissipated. The priests were very accommodating and restrictions were not strenuous at all. We were able to freely move around during the ceremony. This was essential for us because of the way we like to film weddings. It is easy for a videographer so set a camera down on a tripod for the entire service. That is certainly not the Graymask way as we like to capture the story and not just film an event. The Coptic wedding was certainly a new experience and now I have all kinds of ideas about how to film the next Orthodox wedding.
Maryann and John' rings were blessed and they exchanged and placed on their right hands. At the close of the ceremony two crowns were placed on their heads and a gospel was read. The Coptic Orthodox service is unique in one way in that there are no "vows". We enjoyed the experience and the amazing wedding of Maryann and John. Enjoy the highlight of their beautiful Egyptian wedding set in the city of Houston at the St. Mary and Archangel Michael Coptic Orthodox Church.

When Hal and Clara Sevier built their Italian style villa along the shores of Lake Austin in 1916, little did they know it would play host to some of Austin's magnificent weddings. The Villa known today as Laguna Gloria Art Museum is a perfect setting for an Austin wedding.
Sara and Dana couldn't have picked a better location for their nuptials. We bring you their beautiful wedding, a day filled with joy, laughter and a hint of Graymask magic. Enjoy!
