Q & A

Q: Do you supply a contract for your wedding videography services?
A: Yes, the contract is sent out to you. After you review your contract you return a signed copy with your retainer.

Q: How long does it normally take to receive the DVD after the wedding?
A: About 12 to 16 weeks from your wedding day. Even this wide range may not always be accurate. A waiting period of about four
months is average. Cinematic editing requires creativity making it an intense editing process. Prospective videographers may
offer quick turn-around issuing a documentary edit that does not tell your wedding day’s story. We find that all of our
customers are comfortable with the waiting period for the end product is worth waiting.

Q: Is the final copy uncut or edited?
A: The final product will be fully edited.

Q: How long is my DVD?
A: The length of your DVD depends on the amount of activities in your wedding. We have four menu items on your DVD.

  • Trailer (a copy of your online trailer)
  • Our Wedding (highlight of your wedding starting with you during preparation till the time you exit at the end of the day)
  • Full Ceremony
  • Toasts (Unedited versions of your family and friends toasts)

  • Therefore the length of your DVD depends on the length of all these activities. For example; if your ceremony is an hour that menu item
will be an hour long. We like to add this part to give those who are interested in watching the entire ceremony the privilege to do so.

Q: Can you do titles? Is this an additional cost?
A: Yes, and it is included in your cost. Your DVD will have four menu items: Trailer, Our Wedding, Full Service and Toasts (if applicable).

Q: Cost of the desired wedding videography package: What does it include?
A: It includes shots of your pre-wedding scenes, ceremony and reception unless requested otherwise.

Q: Does the retainer count towards my balance?
A:Yes, the retainer counts towards your balance.

Q: What types of weddings have you videotaped?
A: Christian, Baha’i, Jewish, Persian and Muslim wedding ceremonies. We also shoot indoor and outdoor weddings.

Q: Are you inconspicuous during the ceremony?
A: Yes. Our main objective is to be inconspicuous. We use state-of-the-art cameras allowing us the freedom to film inconspicuously.

Q: How many videographers will be there?
A: Based on our style of coverage we require a minimum of two videographers.

Q: If you’re ill on our wedding day, who will replace you?
A: We are a team of four and any of our videographers are qualified to step in for one another.

Q: What do you think about working with our still photographer?
A: We see your still photographer as our peer. In fact, many photographers refer and recommend us. We are very conscious of
what your photographer is doing, and we stay out of their way and allow them to do what you have hired them to do.

Q: Will you use a wireless microphone?
A: Yes, wireless microphones provide clear audio. We mic both the groom and the Officiant with a wireless lavaliere “clip-on” mic.
The mic on the groom’s lapel picks up the bride’s voice. The microphone is removed from the groom immediately after the ceremony
to allow the couple their privacy.

Q: Can you provide extra wedding DVD copies of the finished wedding?
A: Yes, we can provide additional copies of $25 each.

Q: Can I make copies of my wedding video?
A: Additional copies are available for you to purchase at a reasonable price.

Q: Do you offer High Definition Videography as well as Standard Definition?
A: The final format delivered to you will be HD on a DVD or Blu-Ray Disc depending on your package.

Q: Can you make the wedding DVD play to fit my widescreen TV (16 x 9)?
A: Yes, this is our standard aspect ratio.

Q: Do you charge for mileage?
A: There is no charge for weddings in central Texas. However, there may be additional travel charges for weddings outside
central Texas. We will inform you of any possible travel charges prior to your booking.

Q: How far will you travel to videotape my wedding?
A: Anywhere. Most of our weddings are in central Texas; however we have shot weddings in from coast to coast! We would be happy
to join you at the location of your choice.

Q: How is your time billed?
A: Our time begins when we reach the first location. Travel time between the ceremony and reception venues is billable time. Any
delays in starting the ceremony on time are included as billable time as well. Please take this into account when choosing your package.
It is better to book more time than not enough!

Q: Do I have a choice of music for our video?
A: Yes! I want your wedding video to reflect your tastes and personalities. If you have a favorite song, I will be happy to include it in the video.
However, many couples prefer to leave the music up to us, and we have an extensive library from which we choose appropriate selections.
If you wish to choose your own music, we would ask that you send us your CD(s) well in advance of your wedding day.

Q: Do you charge extra for music and or editing? A: No we do not.

Q: Do you bring backup wedding video equipment with you?
    A: Yes

Q: Can you make a video photo montage? If so, what is your price?
A: Yes. Photo montages are $125 for 50 pictures.

Q: Do you use only available natural light?
A: No, we have additional light. We avoid shinning light into our client’s faces, however; we make sure that our exposures are right.

Q: If the reception area where toasts are given is dark, can you provide a soft light?
    A: Yes.

Q: Do you offer additional un-manned video cameras for reverse angles?
A: Yes, these cameras provide a great angle when the couple is face each other.
